Red Alert Labs Joins the CERTAIN Project

Paving the Way for Ethical and Transparent AI in Europe

· Company News and Press Releases

Red Alert Labs is proud to announce its participation in CERTAIN — Certification for Ethical and Regulatory Transparency in Artificial Intelligence — a EU-funded initiative shaping the future of trustworthy AI across Europe.

As artificial intelligence becomes increasingly integrated into society and industry, ensuring that these systems operate ethically, securely, and in compliance with regulatory standards is more critical than ever. CERTAIN addresses this challenge head-on by bringing together 19 leading organizations from across Europe, uniting expertise from industry, academia, and research.

What Is the CERTAIN Project?

CERTAIN is designed to support the development of secure, compliant, and trustworthy AI systems through a comprehensive framework of guidelines, technical tools, and best practices. This framework spans the entire AI and data value chain, with a focus on:

  • Ensuring compliance with evolving EU regulations, including the AI Act and GDPR
  • Assessing data quality and identifying bias in AI datasets
  • Safeguarding the privacy and rights of individuals interacting with AI systems
  • Supporting certification schemes for transparency and ethical AI deployment
  • Reducing the environmental footprint of AI technologies

This ambitious project also aligns with the goals of the European Green Deal by exploring innovative methods to reduce the energy consumption of AI systems—blending ethics, security, and sustainability into one unified vision.
