Red Alert Labs Launches Smart Contract Evaluation Methodology in Collaboration with IPSProtocol

· Company News and Press Releases

Red Alert Labs is proud to announce the publication of a new methodology for evaluating Smart Contracts within the CSPN (Certification de Sécurité de Premier Niveau) framework. Developed in partnership with IPSProtocol and Campus Cyber, this methodology provides a structured approach to assessing the security of Smart Contracts, fully aligned with CSPN standards. It is a crucial resource for industry professionals seeking to adopt best practices for efficient and thorough security assessments.

What Does the Methodology Cover?

  • A detailed framework for assessing the security of Smart Contracts.
  • Full alignment with CSPN requirements, offering a standardized process for certification.
  • Best practices to ensure comprehensive, efficient security evaluations.

This methodology is designed to help organizations enhance their Smart Contract security practices, offering clear guidance in a critical area of cybersecurity.

The methodology was officially presented during DEMO DAY on January 31, 2025, with Paul Gedeon—Security IoT Laboratory Evaluator and Blockchain Manager at Red Alert Labs—participating in a roundtable discussion. Key experts from Campus Cyber, IPSProtocol, ACPR, FuzzingLabs, and Banque de France also joined, where Paul shared valuable insights on the challenges and solutions for securing Smart Contracts within regulatory frameworks.

For more details, you can read the full methodology and findings from the working group here.
