Red Alert Labs Joins the EUCC ISAC

Shaping the Future of Cybersecurity Certification in Europe

· EU and Research Projects,Company News and Press Releases

At Red Alert Labs, we are excited to share that we have officially joined the EU Common Criteria Information Sharing and Analysis Centre (EUCC ISAC)—an international non-profit dedicated to supporting the implementation and harmonization of the EU Common Criteria (EUCC) certification scheme.

What Is EUCC ISAC?

The EUCC ISAC is a collaborative task force that unites public and private stakeholders working to ensure the effective, consistent, and secure application of the EUCC certification scheme across Europe. It serves as a vital platform for knowledge sharing, policy alignment, and cybersecurity innovation at a European scale.

Our Role: A Trusted Laboratory and ITSEF

As a member of the EUCC ISAC, Red Alert Labs contributes as both a Laboratory and an IT Security Evaluation Facility (ITSEF). This dual role allows us to offer deep technical insights and practical expertise to support the scheme’s development, maintenance, and real-world applicability.

We are proud to collaborate with other leaders in the cybersecurity and certification space, including:

Applus Laboratories, Brightsight (by SGS), CEA Leti, CLR Labs, EDSI (Kudelski Group), Eurosmart, Giesecke+Devrient, IDEMIA Secure Transactions, Infineon Technologies, Mastercard, NXP Semiconductors, Qualcomm, Riscure, Samsung Electronics, SealSQ, SERMA Safety & Security, SRC, STMicroelectronics, Thales, TrustCB, T-Systems, TÜViT (TÜV Nord Group), and Winbond.

Key Contributions to the Mission

Our involvement in the EUCC ISAC supports several core goals of the initiative:

  • Harmonization of Practices: Align certification methodologies across Europe to ensure clarity, consistency, and mutual trust.
  • State-of-the-Art Threat Management: Provide attack quotations and maintain a live attack catalogue to stay ahead of evolving security threats.
  • Technical Expertise: Share methodologies, interpretations, and best practices to keep certifications relevant and robust.
  • Protection Profiles (PPs): Support the creation and maintenance of protection profiles that meet both regulatory and market demands.
  • Capacity Building: Deliver training sessions to empower and onboard new players in the cybersecurity certification ecosystem.
  • Collaboration & Innovation: Enable stronger partnerships between industry, certification bodies, and government agencies to accelerate progress.

Why It Matters

Cyber resilience is not the responsibility of one organization—it’s a collective effort. As a trusted cybersecurity lab, Red Alert Labs is proud to help bridge the gap between regulation and implementation, ensuring that policies translate into effective and scalable security practices.

By actively participating in EUCC ISAC, we’re helping build a future-ready certification ecosystem that protects critical assets, fosters trust, and enhances digital security across borders.
